Joe Strummer Remembrance Sunday
A tribute to a man who inspired us all.....
Sunday November 9th, 2003
2pm - midnight at CONCORDE 2, Madeira Drive, Brighton (on the seafront east of Brighton Pier)
It was a truly wonderful day. The bands and performers were brilliant. The Concorde hosted us superbly. And we raised £2,140 for Strummerville -
The Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music - to help kids from disadvantaged backgrounds get involved in music.
Thanks, everyone who was there - and anyone who wanted to be but couldn't!
I've had a few enquiries about the Strummerville charity details.
If anyone wants to organise any Strummerville events or donate money here is where it needs to go!
